**FIRST HALF HANDICAP**

Arizona Cardinals -4.5 @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Cardinals are coming off of a win against the helpless Houston Texans. At 5-4, the Cardinals are fighting to stay in the playoff hunt in a division that houses both – the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. They did not hurt themselves this past Sunday by holding on to take a win over the Houston Texans. Houston actually took a 17-14 lead into halftime, but the 6 unanswered points by the Cardinals in the third quarter was enough to give the team the win. Houston’s Case Keenum would have another 3 touchdown game in vain. Cardinals’ quarterback, Carson Palmer, would throw for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns, pushing his team past the Texans 27-24.
The win last week by Jacksonville allowed us to get this game under double digits. Don't be fooled by one win by Jags as this bad teams was gifted a win by bad Titans team last week. Arizona defense will make sure Cardinal win the turnover battle as Patrick Peterson and rest the Cardinals defence smothers the Jags offense.

Cardinals D to cause an early turnover resulting in a score, they won't look back...

Key Trends:

  • Jaguars are 8-19-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

(AT THE HALF)

Predicted Score  Arizona Cardinals 14 , Jacksonville Jaguars 6.

New England Patriots +3 @ Carolina Panthers.

On Monday, November 18, 2013, the New England Patriots will head into Bank of America Stadium to take on the Carolina Panthers. The Patriots are currently 7-2 and sitting atop of the AFC East. The Patriots are coming off of a bye week. They definitely entered their bye on a good note – totally dismantling the Pittsburg Steelers 55-31. That 55 point outburst has great significance, as New England had been struggling to put points on the board.
The guy directing it all, quarterback Tom Brady, is pretty decent, too — especially in spots like these. Brady is 29-13 against the spread as an underdog in his career and 14-6 versus the number on Monday Night Football. Although Carolina coach Ron Rivera has reversed his team’s fortunes by transforming the defence into what DVOA rates the league’s best and wisely attacking more aggressively, he’s still at a major coaching disadvantage. And New England coach Bill Belichick even had an extra week to prepare.

The New England Patriots are finally starting to get healthy, and after this bye week, look for the Pats to be the strongest they’ve been all season long.  New England has back to back wins coming into Sunday, with wins over the Dolphins and the Steelers. Their latest win against Pittsburgh, giving us a reminder that when healthy, the Pats have one of the most dangerous offenses in the league.

Yes, Carolina is hot, but after a tough victory on the other side of the country, the Panthers might be candidates for a letdown....

Key Trends:

  • Panthers are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
  • Panthers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous game.
  • Panthers are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games in Week 11.
  • Patriots are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 Monday games.
  • Patriots are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game.
  • Patriots are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games in November.
  • Patriots are 21-7-1 ATS in their last 29 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.
  • Patriots are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in Week 11.
  • Underdog is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
  • Road team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

Predicted Score: New England Patriots 21, Carolina Panthers 20.

FINAL SCORE: New England Patriots 20, Carolina Panthers 24.
